38 Weeks

We are moving right along! We saw Dr. Dwyer today and got an ultra sound. The measurements were good, now we just need him to turn a little more (to face the rear) before coming out too see us. I am up to 3cm dilated! The swelling has moved to both of my feet :(
Nesting is IN! I think it has affected both Adam & I! I did some more art for Finn's room this weekend. Sleep is worse then ever. This is my last week at work & then I'm out for 8 weeks.

37 Weeks

Yesterday (6-6-10) we celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary! It was a beautiful day on the Outer Banks. We spent some time with Ava on the beach in Kitty Hawk. When it's 90 degrees outside you almost have to be in the water if you're going to be out doors. The water was frigged but we managed to take a few dips and had a blast playing on shore. We are in the home stretch (3 weeks to go) before we become a family of four. We are so excited to welcome baby Finnley Kai Norko into our loving home. Everything is coming along great and the nursery only needs a bit of art hung on the bare walls to finalize the room. Ava had her first dentist appointment today with Dr. Pat. Now, if we can just make it to her 5th birthday party at the pool on Saturday Finn can come whenever he would like. When I saw Dr. Dwyer last week (36 Weeks) I had an internal exam and he told me that I'm 2cm dilated & 80% effaced. I have another appointment tomorrow so I'll keep everyone up-to-date with any new information.

35 Weeks!

Were on the final countdown! 5 weeks to go...
Next week we start prenatal appointments every week.
It's becoming harder to sleep at night & the typical back pain & swollen feet haunt me. Painting my toenails is quickly becoming a thing of the past :)

32 Weeks

I had the best time at my baby shower this weekend. We have had a total of 2 wonderful showers, one from the Norko's & one from the Bradshaw's!
Finn is definitely loosing space in there, about 3.75 lbs now he is gaining 1/2 a pound a week!
We went to a class this weekend called Comfort & Relaxation measures up in Chesapeake. We learned a lot & really enjoyed ourselves. We also purchased a new crib at Babies R Us & we have it set up in his room already! While we were in Babies R us Adam picked up the cutest thing for Finn, it's called the Twilight Turtle. I'll attach a picture for all to see. It shines stars and the moon on his ceiling.

30 Weeks!

Holy heartburn!

We also painted the walls, now for decor & the crib!

Aunt Sarah, I thought you would think the picture of the loveys was funny, we couldn't decide which one to buy Finn so now we have a total of 4! But my favorite is the Lion so I'm going to try and make that stick ;)

27 Weeks

27 Week Check up today with Dr. Winfree. I had blood drawn for the glucose test. I also received my Rhogam injection today since I am Rh negative & Adam is positive. My next appointment is in 3 weeks & then we start visits every 2 weeks! My right foot has started to swell on and off. Preparation for childbirth classes start tomorrow (March 30)with Marianne Gradeless.

25 Weeks

Head to heels, baby boy now measures about 13 1/2 inches. His weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average eggplant, but he's beginning to exchange his long, lean look for some baby fat. As he does, his wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and he'll start to look more and more like a newborn. He's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture.
Mommy's doing great! Loving Old Navy maternity clothes. We are having lot's of braxton hicks contractions (which is supposed to be normal if it's not your first pregnancy).
